Folded In was developed as part of a visual narrative project exploring the idea of home as an emotional and physical sensation rather than a geographical place.
Responding to a brief centered around the premise of “home,” the project focused on themes of closeness, memory, independence, and belonging.
The concept explores how physical touch, particularly the act of hugging, becomes a symbol of protection and comfort, and how that meaning shifts through the transition from childhood to adulthood. Through the contrast between intimate childhood footage and present-day moments of solitude, the narrative reflects on distance, emotional growth, and the changing understanding of home.
This project combined archival imagery, video, and intimate visual storytelling to build a mood reel centered on vulnerability, nostalgia, and human connection.
